The Kaffir Lily 'Major' (Schizostylis coccinea) produces rose-pink flowers from March to April. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady location. The Kaffir Lily 'Major' is quite frost-tolerant in sheltered locations. The upright, rhizome-forming, spreading perennial usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm.

BLOOM:
The rose-pink flowers appear from March to April. With proper care, a second bloom occurs from September to October.

The Kaffir Lily 'Major' shows good frost hardiness.
SOIL:
Normal soil.
USES:
Pond edge, stream bank, cut flower, bee pasture
CARE:
Use long-term fertilizer in spring. This releases nutrients slowly and continuously, ensuring the plant is supplied evenly over a longer period.

PLANTING TIME:
