Pressure filters are compact all-rounders: They clean the water in several steps. The high pressure, through which the water is pressed by the pond pump through the filter, removes dirt particles from the water. With an integrated UVC clarifier, suspended algae are simultaneously killed, preventing the phenomenon of a green pond. After cleaning by a pressure filter, the pond water can be used for feeding a stream or waterfall up to 1.50 meters high, thanks to continuous pressure. This way, you have no additional water loss due to the cleaning of the pond water. A pressure filter can be easily installed in the ground, even below the water level. Cleaning a pressure filter, unlike a drum filter, involves more effort and must be cleaned weekly, depending on the pond and season. A pressure filter is ideal for garden ponds from 5,000 to 60,000 liters with streams or waterfalls with no or few fish. A pressure filter is not designed for cleaning fish or koi ponds. Since a pressure filter works with high pressure, a high-quality pressure filter should be used. This will withstand the daily workload longer and require fewer repairs.
