Description
Water mint prefers to grow at the edges of bodies of water. Its taste is milder than most other mints, making it very gentle on the stomach and less overpowering in aroma.
The shoots reach a height of approximately 40cm and grow strictly upright. The green foliage is ovate and slightly less serrated than its 'relatives'.
Mentha aquatica prefers a sunny or partially shaded spot with moist soil.
Water mint is very winter-hardy.
