Fairy Primrose (Bog Primrose) Sold Out

The Rosy Primrose (Bog Primrose) is originally from Afghanistan and is a robust species with bright pink flowers.

The small green leaf rosettes, with their tongue-shaped leaves, make the contrasting pink flowers shine beautifully. Primula rosea 'Gigas' grows to 15-20cm tall and prefers a semi-shady location. It can also tolerate full sun for periods.

Its flowering period is very early in March, so the pretty flowers are unfortunately somewhat susceptible to late frosts. Nevertheless, the winter hardiness of the small Rosy Primrose is good.
