This innovative, exceptionally quiet irrigation system pressure pump for terrariums operates with 24V low voltage and offers a very high nozzle capacity. Irrigation projects with 25 or more spray nozzles, such as in professional amphibian and reptile breeding, in zoological facilities, tropical houses or orchid cultivation can be easily operated with this powerhouse.

Terrarium pressure pump for up to 60 spray nozzles
Large terrarium projects with 25 or more nozzles, such as in zoological facilities and tropical houses, and professional amphibian and reptile breeding, place special demands on irrigation technology in terms of performance. The Whisper PowerPump XL effortlessly meets this challenge and allows the operation of up to 60 spray nozzles* on one pump system. With proper installation of the irrigation system, this XL terrarium pressure pump ensures perfect irrigation and uniform spray patterns at all nozzles. The use of multiple pumps for irrigating such large irrigation projects is thus eliminated.

For operation with the Whisper PowerPump XL, we recommend spray nozzles from the Uni-Line, Blue-Line, Black-Line or Easy-Line series. Operation with micro-misting nozzles is also possible, but should only be carried out with misting nozzles without an anti-drip system and not below a nozzle size of 0.3 mm and at least 30 pieces.

XL irrigation pump - quiet, robust for versatile spray applications
The Whisper PowerPump XL features sophisticated and robust pump technology. An overpressure valve (bypass) integrated in the pump head, adjustable via an Allen key, reliably prevents overpressure in the system by means of a mechanical spring valve. The four-chamber design of the pump head in conjunction with the motor power minimizes pressure diaphragm pulsations to a minimum. The pump is mounted using the four mounting tabs integrated in the pump carrier and can be done horizontally or vertically. The XL irrigation pump is explicitly designed for pressure, spray, and irrigation applications and is ideally suited for an operating range between 2.5 to 4 liters / minute water consumption at 5 - 9 bar pump pressure due to its high performance capacity. All media-carrying components of the XL pressure pump are food-safe.

For larger irrigation projects, we recommend appropriate sizing of the hose lines in terms of cross-section. On the inlet side, the Whisper PowerPump XL is equipped with a connection for 12 mm hose outer diameter. On the pressure side, the pump outlet is configured as standard for 6 mm hose outer diameter, but can also be converted to an 8 mm outlet later.

To monitor the system pressure, we recommend using a pressure-side manometer, which is integrated into the pressure line.

Safety information
Although this type of pump is robust against dry running - avoid it! Dry running over a longer period damages any pump and leads to increased wear of the components! Only use water as the conveying medium!
