Healthy Pond Environment
The correct water values in a garden pond depend on the fish stock and the existing plants. Even if the water looks clear, it can be contaminated. Poor values can lead to diseases or algae in the pond. Regular monitoring and adjustment of water values are important for a healthy pond environment. With the JBL Testlab Koi, you can determine the most important water values of your Koi or garden pond.

Precise determination of the following values

• PO4 Sensitive: Phosphate content of the water from 0.5 to 1.8 mg/l
• PO4 Koi: Phosphate content of the water from 0.25 to 10 mg/l
• 02-Test: Oxygen content
• pH-Test: Acidity of the water from 3.0 to 10
• pH-Test: Acidity of the water from 7.4 to 9.0
• KH-Test: pH stability of the water (carbonate hardness)
• GH-Test: Total hardness
• NO2-Test: Toxic nitrogen compound (nitrite)
• NO3-Test: Algae cause (nitrate)
• NH4 + NH3: Indication of non-toxic ammonium, determination of toxic ammonia via table, ammonium (NH4) is non-toxic to fish, but at pH values above 7, it is partially converted into toxic ammonia (NH3)
