Black-Line misting system as a complete kit, including 2 swivel fine-mist nozzles 80°, a timer for misting accurate to the second, and a 5-liter water tank with an integrated fine filter system.

This misting system has all the necessary components to start terrarium misting immediately. The high-pressure diaphragm pump with 24V low voltage is pleasantly quiet in operation and therefore ideal for living areas, for example. The corresponding power supply unit for safe pump operation is included in the scope of delivery, as are the necessary hose connections for the pump inlet and nozzle pressure hose. Depending on local conditions, we recommend the hose holders offered below in appropriate quantities for fastening the pressure hose to prevent vibrations of the hose lines.

Upgrade (as of 10/2017)

The pressure pump of the Black-Line misting system has been further optimized by us as part of ongoing development:

Black-Line spray nozzles, colored black, are made of robust, high-quality plastic and can be adjusted in any direction after final assembly in the terrarium. Two rotation mechanisms on the nozzle body allow for easy and comfortable alignment of the spray cone of the Black-Line spray nozzles to enable uniform and gentle humidification/misting in the terrarium or display case.
The plastic nozzles of the Black-Line series are ideally suited for small to medium-sized terrariums, for example, with poison dart frogs, small Phelsuma geckos, but also for invertebrates. The small design of the spray nozzles in combination with the color black ensures perfect integration as an overall picture, especially in small terrariums, without being distracting to the observer. The spray cone/spray angle of the Black-Line nozzles in this misting system kit is 80°, and the spray pattern, or rather the droplet formation, is pleasantly gentle and fine, so that the terrarium animals are not unnecessarily disturbed. They are happy to take up the fine droplets from the plants in the terrarium and thus supply themselves with liquid.

A digital timer with a second function is included in the scope of delivery for controlling this kit misting system. This second timer offers the possibility of programming even the shortest misting times in the second range. The settings on the timer are very simple, comparable to those of commercially available timers. Up to 8 switching times can be realized daily, with each switching time having an individual length, from one second to 24 hours. Day blocks can also be set, so that, for example, misting only takes place in the terrarium on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or only on weekends.

The 5-liter water tank with an integrated fine filter ensures the necessary water supply for the pump. The required hose connection for the pump inlet is located in the lid of the water tank and is also equipped with a practical plug-in system for the pressure hose/inlet hose of the pressure pump.
The fine filter located in the water tank reliably filters out fine suspended particles and accumulating sediments. However, limescale is not filtered.

The Black-Line misting system in a kit is easy to install, safe, and reliable in operation. To expand the system, we offer corresponding nozzle extensions as a set as well as individual spray nozzles and components. The comfortable plug-in system for hose connections is also easy for laypersons to understand and assemble when it comes to misting systems/terrarium humidification.

Safety Notice
Although the assembly instructions for this misting system kit are also understandable for laypersons, we point out that electrical installations may only be carried out by a specialist! Generally avoid dry running of the pump! Only use water as the conveying medium! When regulating the pressure, always observe the maximum possible pressure of all components used in your system.
