Following my bricklaying apprenticeship, I attended the building foreman school and successfully completed it in 1977.
In 1978, I took a sabbatical and traveled to America for several months for further training, to reflect on my future professional path.
Upon my return, I founded my own construction company. Thanks to my diverse training, I was able to offer my clients everything from simple masonry work to turnkey single-family homes. Over the years, customer requests also expanded to include swimming pools and swimming/fish ponds. About 45 years ago, I built my first pond.
Since fish of all kinds fascinated me even as a child, I decided in 1994 to specialize in swimming and fish ponds, as well as the associated filter systems. At that time, I got to know and appreciate Koi and realized that these fish have high demands on water quality. So I developed the first pond filter based on a Japanese model.
In addition to our specialty, filter construction and pond management, we recommend ourselves for individual pond construction indoors and outdoors, for the maintenance of pond systems, and various landscaping works.
