The optimal feeding amount for sturgeon is 1% of body weight per day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince sturgeon have an inferior mouth (except for Beluga sturgeon and paddlefish), they only take their food from the bottom of the pond, so we feed sinking food. The food has a strong natural smell, which resembles the fish's natural diet (insect larvae, worms, mollusks). Sturgeon should be fed in small amounts as often as possible throughout the day, as they completely ignore food that lies in the pond for longer than 1 hour.
