The optimal amount of feed for sturgeons is 1% of their body weight per day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince sturgeons have an inferior mouth (except for Beluga sturgeon and Paddlefish), they only take their food from the bottom of the pond, so we feed sinking food. The food has a strong natural odor, similar to the fish's natural diet (insect larvae, worms, mollusks). Sturgeons should be fed as frequently as possible throughout the day in small amounts, as they completely ignore food that has been in the pond for longer than 1 hour.
